I have a confession to make…I have an obession!!
With what? with who? (sorry but its not a who!)
ITS WITH THE LEGENDARY LITTLE NOTEBOOKS CALLED “MOLESKINES”

I’m amazed at how many loyal Moleskiners there are out there, declaring loudly and proudly of their love and obsession with Moleskines. I am now one of them.
I’ve got myself a few little pocket moleskines to keep me organised and also to jot down whatever crazy ideas that pop up into my head at random times during the day. I’ve got a couple of grid ruled moleskines, and also a couple of normal ruled pocket notebooks. The grids help me because of my shocking handwriting while still allowing me to have the versatility of having a plain white page. And obviously the ruled notebook is for writing stuff on.
I love how Moleskines are the notebook of choice for artists dating back since Van Gogh and Ernest Hemingway. This is my fav blog of a moleskiner, he’s absolutely brilliant! >> check it out here.
Every Moleskiner has their own way of setting up their moleskine to make it work for them, if you dont believe me, just google Moleskine hack or Moleskine GTD, or Moleskine use. I’m going to give a few of their wisdom a try but will give it a go myself since my mind is kind of strange. I’ve already got my Pilot G2 gel black pen (pen of choice by most Moleskiners) and I’m rearing to start moleskining!
Take a look at my obsession here.

Welcome to my work!
Well its been over a month since starting my new job (while still keeping my old one) with 2 weeks of holidays in between. How has it been so far? That’s me on the floor by the door with my head around the cornerĀ hahaha
Its been a pretty exhausting few months, working 12 hours a day doing something which I’m still learning and getting my little head around. Its hard not seeing results or getting feedback, but plugging away at it and hopefully i’ll learn things out of it. I already have. I’ve noticed the mid morning, lunch time, post lunch, and mid arvo need for coffee.
Many people at work have asked me, how do I fit in everything. From having 2 jobs, to being a photographer, church stuff, to doing Hands of Hope community stuff..how do I do it? Well the answer is…. honestly?…..I dont know. But I know that God is the one who sustains me. That when my body feels weak and wants to crash and give up, His purposes and His strength keeps me going. I know that I’m here for a purpose. And to quote Nehemiah, “I’m doing a great work, and I cant come down…”.

Tonight at Church Service I had a wonderful lightbulb moment which brought a big smile to my face.
It was during communion. Normally during communion, I’ll be almost crying remembering the sacrifice that Christ paid on the cross for me, however tonight was different. I was almost brought to tears by a few words that a dear friend said.
It was after the elements were handed out and to the usher’s delight and surprise all the communion cups were all gone, except for 4 cups. We almost ran out of communion. Praise God for that!
And it was these few words that made my night. She said “It suddenly makes it all worth it”. Despite facing obsticles and difficult circumstances, personality clashes, learning the hardships of ministry, it all makes it worth it when you see the lives that God is touching (through the holy spirit and your service).
Let’s pray that each week we’ll continue to run out of communion. Not for numbers sake, but to advance God’s kingdom and bringing people to know of His love and His gospel.
Thanks kids!
Here’s a photo that my dear friend took in all her excitement.
“makes it all worth it!”
